Moving ~50% of Articles to Hashnode

I’m going to be moving ~50% of my future articles over to Hashnode. I’ve decided that I’d like to keep my medium account mainly for Flutter/Dart articles and all other related articles will mostly be hosted on my Hashnode page. Here is why.

The reason for this is 1) I want to make sure I’m delivering consistent content to those that follow my account. I know most people who follow me did so because I post fairly frequently on Flutter related topics, so I don’t want to clutter their feeds with off-topic subjects. 2) It’s a much simpler setup with Hashnode and I hope to be able to reach a different audience there. There will be more personal blog posts on Hashnode as well as many “day in the life”-like articles. 3) I don’t want anyone turned away due to any paywalls. I know many people won’t even look at medium articles sometimes because they know that there is most likely a paywall for the article. With Hashnode, there isn’t one, so it’s a little more inviting to people.

This really is an experiment for me, so if you’re interested to see how it works out then be sure to follow my Hashnode as well as my Medium channels!

For my complete, unfiltered full-experience self, be sure to follow me on twitter! I would love to connect and get to know more of you! I’ve met some awesome people over the past two months.
