I’ve noticed that more and more as the months go on that people posting here on medium have absolutely no idea or experience in the topics that they are posting.
- Technical articles about frameworks that they have never used before.
- How to make x amount of money in n days doing y things. Complete bull.
- Various entrepreneurship-focused articles from people who have never actually successfully started up a business of any kind themselves.
The list just goes on and on. I’m writing this purely to vent my frustrations to Medium in hopes that they’ll make a bigger effort to moderate at least some of the crap that gets put on my main feed. With only the option to clap for articles and no downvote option, it’s frustrating to put in the time to read through an article you think will be helpful and then realize you’ve simply wasted your time and can’t demote it in any way for being misleading or inaccurate.
